Cruisin Classics is pleased to present our newest arrival – this 1973 Ford Bronco! We are selling this truck as a running and driving project. It is definitely road-worthy the way it is and could be enjoyed without any improvements at all. The engine fires right up, the transmission shifts smoothly, and the 4-wheel drive and brakes work as they should. This particular Bronco was born a U-15 (Wagon) but has been modified to look like a U-14 half-cab pick-up. Ford quit making the pick-up variation in 1972, but many owners love the style and opt for this conversion. Under the hood is what we believe to be a 302 Ford V-8 mated to a 3-speed automatic transmission (1973 was the first year an automatic was available on the Bronco). It also features dual gas tanks, headers with dual exhaust, power steering, and power front disc / rear drum brakes. It gets down the road (or trail) on American Racing wheels wrapped in Bridgestone Dueler A/T tires. Inside the cabin you'll find black vinyl bucket seats in good condition with equally nice black door cards. It has it's original speedometer and gauges which all seem to work. It has working 2-speed wipers as well as an aftermarket Durabrand AM/FM/Cassette stereo that sounds pretty good. The body of the Bronco does have rust in quite a few spots as you can see in the pictures and the paint is low driver quality. This Bronco would make a great candidate for a full restoration, or it could be enjoyed just the way it is. If you're a fan of these then you know just how much a restored one can be worth. Don't pass up this excellent opportunity to get a very cool Bronco at a below market price!
