Cruisin Classics would like to offer for your consideration a true American Icon in the form of a beautiful 1957 Chevrolet Bel-Air. Decoding the VIN number tells us that this is a real Bel-Air that started life with a V-8 power plant. In 2020 this classic received a frame off rotisserie restoration, we have a photo album showing the process. There are photos of what we believe to be the original 283ci engine after being rebuilt running on an engine stand. Included in the engine rebuild was a mild cam upgrade, new Edelbrock EPS intake manifold, new Edelbrock 600 CFM carburetor, single wire alternator, new starter, refurbished exhaust manifolds and all new correct Chevy orange paint. As the photos clearly show no expense was spared during the restoration of this car. The photos show the rust free body stripped down on a rotisserie where the bottom was painted black and the lower section of the car was finished in Sierra Gold (including complete dash, very cool!) and the top was finished in a beautiful light cream that makes for a stunning combination. The highly detailed engine bay was finished in gloss black prior to the fresh engine being reinstalled. The only change we made after we purchased the car was ride height and wheel and tire choice. When we purchased the car it had OEM style wheels and OEM stance as well. We believed that a set of 17” Wheel Vintiques steelies painted to match the light cream top with chrome trim rings and center caps wrapped in BF Goodrich wide white Silvertown radials and a lowered stance was just what this car needed, I believe we nailed it! We found the interior to be very impressive as well, if we had to describe it in one word it would be “New”. Beautiful two tone front and back seats with matching door panels, all found to be in excellent condition. Headliner, carpet and the complete interior in general are all found to be extremely nice. Equipped with a working “Custom Autosound” AM/FM receiver with auxiliary input. Sunpro water temperature, volts and oil pressure gauges are neatly mounted under dash as well as an old school tach painted Sierra gold to match the dash and exterior of the car. This car is a please to drive and draws a crowd in our showroom. If you have been in the market for a beautiful tri-five Chevy you owe it to yourself to consider this one.
