Cruisin Classics is proud to present to you this 1990 Jeep Grand Wagoneer. This iconic SUV is one of just 6,449 made during the second to last year of production. Wagoneers from the 89-91 model years are known to enthusiasts as the “best of the breed” - due to a number of upgrades as well as a general improvement in fit and finish. This Jeep is wearing a coat of silver metallic paint which we think may be original. It is decent driver quality and looks good from a few feet away. The front grill features 3 horizontal sections separated by chrome bars and flanked by rectangular headlights. Above the front bumper are 2 fog lights and below it is a black chin spoiler, all adding to the good looks. The wood panel sides are starting to show some age with fading and some wear, but overall they still present well. Looking from the side you'll notice dual side mirrors, a ribbed roof topped with a luggage rack with woodgrain inserts, chrome window trim, and factory multi-spoke aluminum alloy wheels wrapped in white-line Cooper Trendsetter SE tires. Around back is a fold-down tailgate with power retractable window, a tow hitch receiver, and a full spare tire underneath. This Jeep came with a rear window wiper but it is not present at the moment. There is a new-in-the-package wiper arm in the rear cargo area and when you push the button on the dash the wiper motor moves the mounting piece – so it should be pretty easy to put back into service. Under the hood you'll find a 360ci V-8 mated to a 3-speed automatic transmission with 4WD. The engine compartment looks completely stock – save for a couple of replacement parts like a new carburetor. A quick glance around reveals it is a power steering, power brake, and AC equipped vehicle. When you open the drivers door you're greeted by an inviting maroon interior. Up front are power adjustable leather bucket seats with cloth inserts seperated by a center console armrest with storage box and cup holders. The drivers seat does have a split on the seat bottom. The rear features a bench seat with seatbelts for 3 rear passengers. On the drivers door are controls for power locks, windows, and mirrors. Woodgrain accent pieces flow from the door panels to the dash and really tie in the “Woody” theme of the exterior. The driver is treated to a leather-wrapped steering wheel wrapped in an aftermarket cover, tilt wheel, cruise control, and intermittent wipers. The crack-free dash houses working gauges, the climate control system with hot heat and cold A/C, and a Sony AM/FM/CD stereo (w/ remote) that plays through the factory Jensen speakers. On the ceiling you'll find a nice cloth headliner as well as an overhead console with an outside temperature sensor, compass, map lights, and a sunglass holder. The maroon carpet looks nice and is kept that way with rubber “Jeep” floormats. There are a couple sets of carpeted logo floormats in the rear cargo space. Also in the rear cargo area is a Haynes repair manual and a retractable vinyl cargo cover. These Grand Wagoneers were popular back when they were new, but now they're coveted by collectors and have a huge cult following. Fully restored versions are now selling above six figures. This is a chance to get one of the last, and best, versions of this iconic SUV for a price that won't break the bank. Drive it the way it is or restore it and put it in your collection – it's ready for either, but it certainly won't last long!
