Cruisin Classics is proud to present to you this 1969 Chevrolet Nova. Born a LeMans Blue car with bench seat, it appears before us today in glossy Black paint with a Black Vinyl top and bucket seats. This triple-black beauty is accented with gleaming brightwork that really sets it off. The front end features chrome faux hood vents, grill trim, and bumper with integrated turn signals. A blue Chevy bowtie rests at the top of the grill while a white “SS” is at the center. The area between the grill and bumper is painted gun-metal grey and provides a nice contrast. Moving around to the side of the car you'll see a 396 badge with side-marker light toward the front – calling out the big block under the hood. Behind the front tire is a faux fender vent with bright “Nova” script above it. There is bright trim around the windows and drip rails that looks great against the flawless and tight vinyl top. Brightwork continues on the sides with chrome door handles, side mirror, and rocker covers. Around back you'll see a chrome bumper just as nice as the one in front, nice bright tail lights, another white “SS” badge, and a '69 only “Nova by Chevrolet” emblem. This whole gorgeous package has an excellent pro-touring-style stance as it sits atop SS Rally wheels with beauty rings wrapped in BF Goodrich Radial T/A's. When you open the hood you'll see that the 396 call-outs on the fenders weren't lying – there's a bright orange big block in there all dressed up and ready to go. The 396 V-8 is topped with an Edelbrock intake, a Holley 4-barrel carburetor, a chrome air cleaner with Bowtie logo wing-nut, and chrome valve covers. Other items of note in the engine bay include power steering, a chrome alternator cover/bracket, OEM Delco battery cover, a chrome radiator top cover, an electric fan ahead of the alternator, and newer belts, hoses, and lines. The big V-8 is mated to a Muncie 4-speed manual transmission with a Ford 9” rear end and 3:55 posi gears. Exhaust flows through headers to dual mufflers and exits behind the rear tires. Stopping power comes from power front discs and rear drums with a dual resevoir. Open the driver's door to find an exceptionally nice black interior with comfortable black vinyl bucket seats up front and a bench in the rear. The seats have been recovered and show almost no wear. The OEM correct door panels look great with their white and silver horizontal accent stripes and they are also in very good condition. Overhead are a black vinyl headliner, shoulder restraint belts, a working dome/courtesy light, and dual visors. Under foot is very nice black carpet with carpeted “SS 396” floormats. The driver is treated to an “SS” steering wheel with working horn and a Hurst shifter with white pattern ball. Ahead of the driver is a crack-free black dash that houses controls for the 2-speed wipers and headlights, a 120 mph speedometer, gas gauge, clock (inop.), climate controls, and a Delco AM radio (inop.). There is a SunPro tachometer mounted to the column and a set of Equus gauges under the dash for temp, battery (inop.), and oil pressure. On the passenger side is a glovebox that contains an original owners manual. Back in the trunk you'll find a vinyl mat, extra rubber floormats, a car cover, and a full spare with factory jack. This '69 Nova is one serious machine – triple-black, big block, power steering, power brakes, great stance, and a nice interior! It just doesn't get much better than that! Give us a call today before someone else gets away with this black beauty!
