Cruisin Classics is proud to present to you today this 1972 Chevrolet C-10 Stepside. This beautiful C-10 comes to us today dressed in high driver-quality aqua blue paint and gleaming chrome. Starting from the front, this truck has a very large rectangular grill composed of horizontal bars and flanked by headlights – all of which gleam in the light. The mirror-finish front bumper rests beneath and features integrated turn signals. Behind the chrome front end is a cowl hood, a hint that there's something exciting under there. The front fenders both have 8/454 badging – a call-out for the previous engine in the truck. There are also Custom 10 Deluxe badges toward the rear of the front fenders. There is bright trim around the front, vent, and rear windows as well a strip around the rear of the cab. Polished dual side mirrors and chrome door handles add to the splashes of brightwork that break up the aqua paint. In the rear is a beautiful wood bed floor with chrome dividers, a “Chevrolet” painted logo tailgate with hook and chain closures, a beautiful rear bumper, and dual exhaust emptying out behind the rear tires. This whole cool package rests atop chrome Riddler 5-spoke wheels wrapped in Linglong Crosswind 4X4 HP tires. Under the cowl hood, you'll find a clean and organized engine bay that is now home to a 6 liter LS V-8 engine. Other highlights under the hood include Vintage A/C, headers, power steering, power brakes, and a Champion radiator with dual electric fans. The V-8 is mated to a 4L65 automatic transmission and a 12-bolt rear end. When you open the driver's door you're greeted by a light tan interior with body-color accents – illuminated by the blue-tinted cab light. The tan vinyl door panels are custom with aftermarket handles and window cranks. The comfortable tan bucket seats are in good condition with only light wear and aqua “Heartbeat” stitching on the upper backs. Between the seats is a custom center console with cup holders done in the same tan material as the doors and seats. The driver is treated to a very nice burled wood steering wheel with banjo wire spokes and a tilt column. Ahead of the steering wheel is an original dash filled with Dakota Digital gauges that look spectacular. The main dash is body color Aqua, but the top is the tan vinyl found elsewhere in the interior. Also in the dash are climate controls that pump out cold A/C and hot heat, a working lighter, and a Retro-sound AM/FM/Aux stereo for some cruisin tunes. Ahead of the passenger is a large, original glovebox. There are Kicker speakers on the front kick panels and nice quality black carpet covers the floor. The ceiling and pillars are painted body color but the visors are dressed in tan vinyl. Behind the seats is the rear window with a sliding center section that works as it should. Included with the truck is a folder with receipts dating back to 2006. If you're hunting for an old-school step-side truck that offers modern conveniences like a powerful fuel-injected engine, cold A/C, a good sounding stereo, power steering, and power front disc brakes – then look no further, this is the ONE! This C-10 really does check all the boxes, and it looks simply awesome too! Give our staff a call before someone else gets to it first!
