Cruisin Classics would like to introduce a 1932 Pierce-Arrow, Model 54, Club Brougham. Cruisin Classics has been around for quite a while now. The building we do business in was built in 1996 and built by us from the ground up. We have seen thousands of cars come and go. Personally, this one is the most elegant classic of this era to bless our showroom. The last person who enjoyed it was the person you would want as a previous owner. He kept all his receipts, notes, suggestions, pictures, schematics, parts, correspondents with others, everything! These items follow the car and will add much more to the story and provenance. The car's history before him owning it is mostly unknown, and it would be up to the new owner to search that out if they wish. As you walk around it, you can feel the nostalgia. It brings the original owner's early thirties vibe and mindset and the joy it must have gotten driving one of America's most luxurious achievements in automobile history.
The history of Pierce-Arrow is as fascinating as the automobile itself. If you would like to know more about the company and its beginnings, go here... https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pierce-Arrow_Motor_Car_Company
This particular piece is a running, driving, museum-quality automobile. Please do not expect to drive this cross-country as it still is a car from 1932. It was professionally repainted in 2019, and it looks stunning. The paint codes are included in the binder. The chrome is shiny, and the iconic grill and hood ornament could not look more appealing. The body lines and gaps add to the beautiful appearance. Everything fits great. The way the engine hoods latch, the way all the windows go up and down, the way the front windshield rolls out, and the way the doors open and shut are just a few pieces of the entire picture. Everything has been expertly managed and skillfully crafted to ensure that this Pierce-Arrow can maintain its name as one of the most luxurious cars ever produced.
The inside of the car maintains most of its originality with a couple of nuances to make it driveable in today's world. With a flip of a switch and a push of a button, you are ready to hit the road. Sometimes, if cold, you may pull the choke out a bit (located on the front of the dash) to get her started.
Please check out the pictures and video in detail. They might answer some of your questions, and if not, give us a call. If you are interested in taking the next step, you are more than welcome to hire an expert on this car to help ease your mind moving forward. We would also like to invite you to our location to see it yourself. If this era of automobiles is your thing or soon will be, please take advantage of this museum-quality 1932 Americana.
