Cruisin Classics is excited to present to you today this spectacular 1967 Chevrolet Camaro! This beauty comes to us today dressed in a deep and glossy respray of its' original color Bolero Red with a black bumble bee stripe across the front. The paint is high driver quality with very few imperfections and it looks as great up close as it does from 5 feet away. The SS hood sports bright faux louvers and SS badging graces the grille, fenders, and gas cap. The front end features highly desirable hidden RS-style headlights that work just as they should. Beneath the black grille are a gleaming chrome bumper and a black chin spoiler to complete the cool look. Quality brightwork abounds with wheel lip molding, window trim, drip rail molding, dual side mirrors, door handles, and rocker covers all adding a glistening pop against the deep red paint. Both front fenders wear “396 Turbo-Jet” badging that adds to the anticipation of lifting the hood. At the rear of the car is a single-piece spoiler on the trunk, a bright rear bumper, and polished dual exhaust. The stance of this Camaro is awesome as it sits on chrome Riddler 5-spoke Star wheels with 18s in front and 20s in back. Rubber hits the road with a nice set of Raptis Hercules tires. Lift the hood to find that the badging was right – there's a bright orange 396ci big block V-8 at the center of this clean and organized engine bay! The big V-8 is topped with chrome valve covers, a GM Performance intake, a Holley 4-barrel carburetor, and a chrome air cleaner with a “396 Turbo-Jet 375 hp” sticker. Exhaust flows from Hooker Headers back through a newer H-pipe exhaust to create a perfect aggressive rumble. The big block is mated up to a 4-speed Muncie M20 transmission that puts down the power with a 12-bolt GM rear axle – a killer combination! Other highlights under the hood include power steering, an aluminum radiator, and HEI ignition. Under the car, you'll find a newer gas tank complete with a new fuel pump and lines. With all that big block power, this Camaro is going to need some serious stopping ability, which comes courtesy of 4-wheel power disc brakes with drilled and slotted rotors as well as dual-piston front calipers – a serious upgrade! Speaking of upgrades, the suspension system has been improved with front coil-overs and traction bars with frame ties in the rear. It should be no surprise that the inside of this Camaro was given the same amount of attention as the outside. Open the driver's door to reveal a stunning black interior illuminated by a working dome light. The stock OEM-style door panels are in excellent condition and feature crank windows. The standard black vinyl bucket seats are comfortable and show little to no wear, with the same being true of the rear bench. Between the seats is a black center console with a storage box, a Hurst shifter with a white pattern ball, and round built-in (working) factory gauges for fuel, temp, oil, and battery as well as a working clock. A nice aftermarket armrest with cupholders sits comfortably atop the rear of the console. Ahead of the driver is a 3-spoke black and chrome SS steering wheel with a working horn. The black-painted dash is topped with a black crack-free vinyl pad. On the dash are a speedometer, tachometer, and an odometer that shows just 59,369 actual miles (per the title). The 2-speed wipers are in working order, as are the heater and fan. Also on the dash is a Retrosound AM/FM stereo that sounds great through the 6X9s on the rear package tray. Overhead you'll find a nice tight black vinyl headliner and underfoot is a quality black hook & loop carpet. Back in the trunk is a houndstooth vinyl mat and a set of black rubber Camaro SS floormats. This Camaro may have been born a plain-Jane 6-cylinder car, but today it is one bad-to-the-bone big block 4-speed with SS and RS features plus some other awesome upgrades! If you're hunting for a first-gen Camaro then you're going to want to take a close look at this one, it really checks a lot of boxes – looks, stance, power, handling, braking, and comfort! Give us a call today, it may be gone tomorrow!
